VVDN Technologies and QNX announced their partnership. By collaborating, QNX and VVDN are enabling customers in the automotive, industrial, medical, aerospace and defense, and other vital industries to develop embedded software more quickly.

By combining VVDN’s extensive knowledge of automotive electronics, hardware design, and end-to-end manufacturing with QNX’s strong, safety-certified software stack, which includes the QNX Neutrino RTOS and QNX Hypervisor for Safety, the engagement seeks to provide a strong, integrated foundation for innovation, functional safety, and quicker time to market in areas like:
- Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs): Combining QNX’s foundational software platform with VVDN’s capabilities in centralized ECU development and OTA updates to simplify SDV development and enable continuous improvements.
- ADAS/ARAS and Autonomous Driving: Leveraging QNX’s real-time performance and safety certifications with VVDN’s expertise in sensor fusion, AI/ML integration, and camera-based solutions for advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous driving.
- Digital Cockpit and Infotainment: Integrating QNX’s secure and reliable operating systems with VVDN’s capabilities in UI/UX development and multimedia system customization for next-generation in-vehicle experiences.
- eMobility Solutions: Combining VVDN’s expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS), power electronics design, and EV chargers with QNX’s secure software solutions to address the growing demands of the eMobility market.
- Embedded Domains such as Medtech, Industrial, Robotics, Aerospace and Defence: By providing VVDN’s hardware platforms with BSP and device drivers optimized with QNX® software, the engagement aims to deliver greater value to OEMs via high-performance, scalable, and secure embedded systems.
