Volts UAE and Honeywell to collaborate in order to build Abu Dhabi’s first gigafactory, which would supply battery cells for residential energy storage systems (RESS). By the end of 2026, the gigafactory is expected to be completed, building on the sustainability talks that occurred during COP28 in the United Arab Emirates.
As a crucial technological partner for Volts, Honeywell will supply cutting-edge equipment and software solutions as part of the partnership, with an emphasis on industrial automation, digitalization, and closed loop control systems.
