A strategic partnership between Viavi Solutions and the Telecom Infra Project (TIP) aims to elevate the testing capabilities of the VIAVI Automated Lab-as-a-Service for Open RAN (VALOR). VALOR offers fully automated, transparent, and impartial testing and integration for Open RAN.
It is made possible by a $21.7 million grant from the Public Wireless Supply Chain Innovation Fund (PWSCIF) of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) in the United States. VALOR guarantees the interoperability, performance, and security of Open RAN components and offers newcomers, startups, and educational facilities a road to certification in the United States.
TIP Defining Open Networks
