At MRO XPO India 2025, which is being held in conjunction with the 6th Aerospace and Defense MRO South Asia Summit on March 26–27, New Delhi, VIAVI Solutions announced that its premier partner Saservo will be exhibiting a variety of cutting-edge avionics test solutions that meet the exacting requirements of vital airborne avionics systems.VIAVI, Saservo Airborne Avionics solutions at MRO XPO India The Volt Post

India’s MRO Industry

India is quickly becoming one of the world’s major centers for MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul). India’s MRO industry, which includes both defense and civil aviation, is set to undergo revolutionary growth thanks to government policy changes that encourage creativity and efficiency.

Leaders in the industry, legislators, innovators, and specialists come together to showcase state-of-the-art technologies for aviation overhaul, maintenance, and repair.

At booth # 48, Saservo will showcase VIAVI’s industry-leading portfolio of avionics test equipment’s and solutions designed for commercial, private and military airborne electronic systems.

Demonstrations include:

AVX-10K – CNS Flight Line test set – The AVX-10K is a comprehensive flight line test solution enabling comprehensive performance verification testing of critical airborne systems from a simple-to-use device.

It helps avionics technicians maximize productivity and efficiency across fixed-base operators (FBOs), avionics and airframes manufacturing, or maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). With test capabilities ranging from a quick system auto-test to in-depth troubleshooting, the device can be remotely operated with the VIAVI Solutions Mobile Tech App on a smartphone or tablet, enabling technicians to perform tests in the cockpit and anywhere around the aircraft.

GPSG-1000 – GNSS Simulator – The GPSG-1000 is a truly portable, easy-to-use GPS and Galileo positional simulator. It fills a gap in the market by providing a low-cost 12 channel test set that creates three-dimensional simulations. The versatile, time-saving test set is designed for GPS/Galileo receivers, including WAAS/EGNOS SBAS (satellite-based augmentation systems).

ALT-8000 – RADALT test set – The VIAVI ALT-8000 is the world’s first RF-based portable radio altimeter flight line test set. The ALT-8000 tests from the TX/RX antennas to the indicator in the cockpit, allowing the operator to replicate in-flight conditions and isolate a bad component of the installed system.

PSD90-3 – FQIS test set – The PSD90-3 allows users to test, troubleshoot and isolate fuel system issues, calibrate fuel quantity indicators and detect contaminated fuel probes. It can test and isolate problems on AC and DC capacitive fuel, water, liquid oxygen and engine oil quantity indicator systems. Developed for use in all environments, the PSD90-3 is ideal for flight line testing on battery power or bench testing on external power.

TC-201A – TCAS Antenna Coupler – The TC-201 TCAS is used on directional TCAS and combined TCAS / Transponder antennas to shield the RF signal during testing of the TCAS or transponder system. The TC-201, when used with the AVX-10K, IFR6000, IFR6015 or APM-424(V)5, supports maintenance testing in the airborne condition, while working to reduce interference with air traffic control or nearby aircraft.
