VIAVI Solutions announced the integration of RF Viewer, a new Augmented Reality (AR) solution, into its OneAdvisor 800 Wireless test platform. RF Viewer enhances users perceive and interaction with radio frequency (RF) signals in their physical environment. It has been developed to address telecommunications, network deployment, smart building design, and RF safety assessments.
RF Viewer, which was developed in close collaboration with Verizon Wireless, overlays signal strength data directly on a live video feed to offer simple, real-time visibility of RF emissions. This innovative approach transforms complex RF analysis into a visually accessible experience by making it easy and precise for users to determine the location, intensity, and distribution of RF signals.
Live AR overlays of RF signal strength and distribution, real-time diagnostics for troubleshooting and optimization, and a user-friendly interface for both professionals and non-experts are some of RF Viewer’s key features.
The VIAVI OneAdvisor 800 Wireless, an integrated solution that addresses an array of testing needs across industries, gains new capabilities from RF Viewer.
OneAdvisor 800 Wireless helps optimize network performance, ensure quality of service, and support the evolution to 5G Advanced and 6G technologies as it is equipped with comprehensive feature set, which includes spectrum analysis, interference detection, and transport network validation.
