The Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) has formally approved Rohde & Schwarz test solutions for use in testing DisplayPort technology.

VESA has officially authorized Rohde & Schwarz’s test solutions for DisplayPort 2.1 (HBR X) transmitter testing, giving manufacturers the tools they need to confidently validate their DP2.1 (HBR X) transmitters. This test solution is built around the R&S RTP oscilloscope and ScopeSuite test automation software.
Additionally, Rohde & Schwarz vector network analyzers have been approved for DisplayPort cable/connector testing, supporting multiple data rates such as DP80 (UHBR20), DP54 (UHBR13.5 and UHBR10), and DP8k (HBR3).
