Vertiv announced that its Chinese subsidiary has acquired some of the technologies and assets of BiXin Energy Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd (BSE), a producer of air handling units, heat pumps, chillers, and heat recovery solutions.
The acquisition enhances Vertiv’s portfolio of vital technologies and solutions to serve high-performance computation and artificial intelligence applications worldwide, with a focus on growing the Vertiv chiller family.
In addition to industry patents, cutting-edge technological solutions, and robust research and development skills that will strengthen Vertiv’s global portfolio, BSE, which was founded in 2010, provides to Vertiv an established and proven position in the Chinese market as well as other Asian regions.
Oil-free, magnetic-bearing centrifugal water-cooled and air-cooled chillers with cooling capacities of up to 5.5 MW that use pumped refrigerant-economization technology are among BSE’s main product lines. Centrifugal technology, which is intended to offer great efficiency, low maintenance, silent operation, and high dependability, is something that BSE is leading in Asia.
Since early 2024, Vertiv has partnered with BiXin Energy Technology to manufacture Vertiv-branded products for existing customers in China and throughout Asia.
BiXin Energy Technology is an Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) certified test facility, a China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association (CRAA) member and a China High and New-Technology Enterprise. Its products carry the AHRI-certified and CRAA-certified product labels.
The combination of engineering, test and technology expertise in centrifugal chillers is complementary to Vertiv’s global chiller product portfolio.
