The Same Sky Interconnect Group announced the addition of a new USB connectors product line to their lineup of USB connectors. The USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, or USB 3.2 Gen 2 specifications are met by the UP20, UP31, and UP32 series, which can offer up to 150 W of power at 30 V and 5 A and transfer data at up to 10 Gbps.
These USB Type C plugs come in either horizontal or vertical packaging and can be mounted in a number of ways, such as cable mount, board edge, surface mount, and through hole.
All USB Type C plug models are reflow solder compatible and feature high reliability up to 10,000 mating cycles. Operating temperatures range from -30 up to 125°C, depending on the model.
