BrainBox AI, an industry innovator in generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) building technology and autonomous HVAC controls, has been fully acquired by Trane Technologies. A news release announcing the transaction was issued on December 18, 2024.
By automating HVAC systems and predicting building energy requirements using sophisticated deep learning algorithms, BrainBox AI can reduce energy usage by up to 25% and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by up to 40%.
In order to satisfy the rapidly increasing need for sustainable, autonomous building solutions, the acquisition expands on the companies’ previous partnership by fusing Trane Technologies’ cutting-edge building management and digital capabilities with BrainBox AI’s industry-leading artificial intelligence technology.
