Key Features Include:

  • Compact 1″×1″ (THN 10UIR) and 2″×1″ package (TEN 30UIR and TEN 40UIR)
    • Ultra-wide input voltage range 9–75, 14–160 VDC
    • EN 50155 and EN 61373
    • Qualification for fire behavior according to EN 45545-2
    • I/O-isolation 3‘000 VDC
    • High efficiency up to 90%
    • Under voltage lock out circuit
    • Adjustable output voltage and Remote On/Off

The DC/DC converters high efficiency of up to 90% allows them to operate without derating in an effective temperature range of -40°C to +70°C (with a heatsink up to 80°C). The dedicated holdup capacitor connection allows them to meet requirements for extended holdup times without requiring bulky input capacitors.

The certifications in line with EN 50155 and EN 61373 standards make them eligible for use in railroad and transit networks. A possible application compliance test is supported by additional certification for the fire behavior of components in accordance with EN 45545-2 and the safety approval in accordance with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1.

To ensure that these converters fit in any ruggedized application, all models have an I/O-isolation voltage of 3000 VDC, an active under-voltage lockout function, remote on/off, and customizable outputs.
