In order to support the industrial and startup ecosystem, TEXMiN (Technology Innovation in Exploration & Mining) Foundation, the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, has teamed up with Guideline Geo to establish a world-class center for geophysical exploration in India that offers cutting-edge instruments, services, and applications.
The demand for minerals is growing as global growth increases. Although the term “minerals” can apply to a variety of rock types and sediments in this context, it is more likely to relate to commodities like gold, copper, iron, etc. Large expanses to cover, occasionally in extremely rugged terrain, and complex geological systems that conceal the minerals we wish to mine make mineral prospecting difficult.
This implies that these problems should be able to be resolved by the investigative method that is selected. This can only be accomplished by expediting the development of sophisticated geophysical exploration techniques, which provide a cost-effective and non-destructive means of better understanding the conditions beneath the surface.
This alliance is positioned to drive growth across the geophysical exploration value chain by integrating cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data analytics into mining processes, improving operational efficiency and safety, and meeting India’s growing need for digital innovation.
