In order to create and utilize virtual models of Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions for cloud-native application development, Tata Elxsi announced its intentions to collaborate with Qualcomm Technologies.
Using Snapdragon virtual system-on-chips (VSoCs), Tata Elxsi will create a virtual electronic control unit (ECU) platform for automakers and Tier-1 suppliers for the upcoming generation of mobility solutions for the passenger, commercial, and off-highway vehicle segments. This technology partnership will be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025.
In order to help transform the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) development process and allow R&D teams to expedite software development and validation, Tata Elxsi plans to leverage the Snapdragon Digital Chassis VSoCs. This program seeks to expedite and streamline product development lifecycles by decreasing reliance on hardware availability, guaranteeing that cutting-edge mobility solutions are delivered to the market more quickly and effectively.
Tata Elxsi will demonstrate this procedure at CES 2025 by integrating Qualcomm Technologies’ Snapdragon RideTM Flex SoC with the company’s AVENIRTM SDV suite of technologies. Real-world use cases, such as mixed-critical infotainment and advanced driver assistance system workloads, will be highlighted throughout the demonstration.
