ST TSB952 Dual op amp With Wide Supply Range

With a 52MHz gain-bandwidth and a supply current of only 3.3mA per channel at 36V, STMicroelectronics has announced the TSB952 dual operational amplifier (op amp), which offers excellent performance for designs that are power-conscious.ST TSB952 dual operational amplifier in DFN8 package the volt post

The TSB952 Dual Operational Amplifier Offers:

  • Design flexibility and can operate from a variety of power sources, including industry-standard voltage rails, thanks to its broad supply-voltage range of 4.5V–36V.
  • The system can tolerate significant transient spikes and voltage dips because to the wide supply range.
  • The op amps, which also have rail-to-rail output swing, are suitable for applications requiring a broad dynamic range, including  signal conditioning for power supplies.
  • Designers may utilize the TSB952 dual operational amplifier in industrial and automotive situations since it can function in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 125°C.

Later in 2024, ST will make AEC-Q101 approved parts available for use in automobiles. Every devices are EMI hardened and has a 4kV ESD tolerance (based on the human body model).

The TSB952 is offered in a wettable flank 3mm x 3mm DFN8 package, which conserves space and enables cost-effective PCB designs. With standardized pin assignments, it is also offered in the well-liked SO8 packaging, making it easier to upgrade current designs for better efficiency and performance.

Production has begun on the industrial-grade versions in DFN8 and SO8. In Q3 2024, the automotive-qualified gadgets will be on sale. The ST eStore offers free samples of the TSB952 and prices start at $0.96 for purchases of 1000 units. ST’s 10-year longevity policy, which ensures long-term product availability, covers the TSB952.
