Headquartered in Sweden, Sivers Semiconductors is a global developer of photonics and wireless technologies, serving markets that include AI datacenters, satellite communications, defense, and telecommunications.
The company currently holds a market capitalization of around $119 million and trades at approximately $0.38 per share.
According to the company’s announcement, Biagan will oversee global sales and field applications engineering. His role will be central to driving customer engagement and accelerating revenue growth across Sivers’ photonics and wireless divisions.
Before joining Sivers, Biagan served at GlobalFoundries, where he was credited with expanding the revenue funnel year over year and growing his accounts to exceed $1 billion in sales. He brings over 25 years of sales leadership experience in the microelectronics industry, having held executive roles at Qualcomm, RF Micro Devices (now Qorvo), RFaxis (acquired by Skyworks), and Sanan Integrated Circuits.
“I am excited and honored to join Sivers Semiconductors at this critical stage in its growth journey,” Biagan said in the company’s statement.
Sivers CEO Vickram Vathulya emphasized that Biagan’s appointment aligns with the company’s strategic focus on scaling its customer base and expanding market opportunities across both business segments.
Recent data from InvestingPro shows that Sivers has achieved strong year-over-year
revenue growth of 32.16%, although profitability remains a key challenge as the firm continues to invest in innovation and market expansion.
