Sindhu Gangadharan, MD of SAP Labs India, was named as the next chairperson of nasscom. Rajesh Nambiar, who was named the nasscom President Designate, is succeeded by her.
The nasscom Executive Council, President Designate Rajesh Nambiar, and Chairperson Sindhu Gangadharan will keep pushing a wide range of goals to position India as one of the top technological ecosystems in the world.
Their leadership will concentrate on reorienting the technology sector to maximize growth as the industry landscape changes, from utilizing technological promise to achieving concrete results.
Priorities include sharpening the focus on disruptive technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), establishing India as a worldwide center for digital talent, fostering innovation, creating a supportive governmental environment, and bolstering R&D capabilities in engineering.

A well-respected thought leader, Sindhu has made a significant impact in the tech sector. She is the first woman to head SAP Labs in India, and she also serves as SAP’s Head of Customer Innovation Services, a global position.
Sindhu Gangadharan was also chosen to serve as the nasscom GCC Council Chair in 2023. She is a member of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce’s Steering Committee, which promotes bilateral trade between Germany and India, and she is on the boards of Siemens India and Titan Company Limited.
