Silicon Labs has expanded its key Hyderabad facility in India, celebrated with a special ceremony attended by Laura E. Williams, U.S. Consul General in Hyderabad. The expansion boosts the company’s regional footprint by 50%, adding new labs and operational space to fuel ongoing growth in engineering and global wireless innovation.

The U.S. Consul General’s presence underscores the growing importance of U.S.-India collaboration in driving technology innovation and strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
Since opening its Hyderabad operations in 2020, Silicon Labs has more than tripled its local workforce, expanding across R&D, engineering, product development, operations, sales, technical marketing, and IT. The upgraded Hyderabad facility is built to support continued hiring and advanced work in software, hardware, and wireless connectivity technologies.

The grand opening brought together Silicon Labs’ executive leadership including Matt Johnson (President and CEO), Dean Butler (CFO), Manish Kothari (SVP of Software Development), Radhika Chennakeshavula (CIO), and Nestor Ho (Chief Legal Officer) alongside Consul General Williams, highlighting the strength of U.S.-India technology partnerships.
The Hyderabad site plays a central role in Silicon Labs’ wireless portfolio, driving global product development, engineering execution, and operational excellence.
This expanded Hyderabad Facility positions the company to accelerate innovation and attract top engineering talent as demand for secure, intelligent wireless connectivity continues to surge.
