Infineon Technologies declared the commencement of construction and the signing of the lease agreement for its new Bengaluru office named “SILANE”. This is said to be a significant step in the company’s continuous efforts to promote excellence and innovation in the Indian semiconductor industry. By 2030, the site will employ 4,500 people, setting Infineon up for long-term success in India.
It will offer 170,000 square feet of state-of-the-art semiconductor labs that promote digitalization and decarbonization. The project is expected to be finished and operational by the fall of 2026.

The new building, which is 630,000 square feet in size, will house the majority of Infineon’s employees in India and act as a central focus for the company’s operations in Bengaluru, which are now spread across two locations.
SILANE will flaunt top-notch services including a modern gym, a variety of dining options, and a children’s daycare center on site, Bagmane Solarium Tech Park offers an environment that encourages creativity and sustainability.
The structure has been constructed to satisfy globally accepted LEED Gold and WELL criteria for energy efficiency, the environment, and health and well-being. It will maximize resource use while promoting cooperation with its open and adaptable workspaces.
For instance, the new Infineon Bengaluru office’s energy will come from renewable sources. Due to its advantageous position, the site is near numerous public transit options, has two metro lines, and may eventually have access to a suburban train station.
