The first AI-Hub Data Center in Lucknow is currently operational, according to a statement from Sify Infinit Spaces. On February 23, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., the Honorable Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, IAS, conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for this new facility. Phase 1 of the facility’s four-phase construction will begin operations in June 2025.
A crucial operational asset for businesses, the data center near the main MNCs based in the NCR and Lucknow region will assist cut down on latency times. Located on Sultanpur Road in Lucknow’s HCL IT city complex, the facility uses edge caching, which consists of hardware and software components that store data to boost computer power.
Senior authorities attended the ceremony, which was presided over by Sri Raju Vegesna, Chairman of Sify Technologies Limited.

Reflecting on the occasion, Mr. Raju Vegesna, Chairman, Sify Technologies, remarked, “We are pleased to enable Lucknow to join the list of AI-ready cities. This facility is in line with our aggressive investment goals and is also a testament to the State government ambition of making Uttar Pradesh the data center destination for North India.
