Siemens Digital Industries Software (DISW) and L&T Technology Services announced an extension of their partnership. After ten years of fruitful cooperation, LTTS and Siemens are ready to expand their Center of Excellence (CoE) charter, which will witness the development of innovative technologies that will assist industries including industrial machinery, automotive, aerospace, electronics, energy, and healthcare.
The extended collaboration will speed time-to-market and enhance product quality for customers, commemorating ten years of engineering excellence in sustainability and digital transformation.
Through the development of integrated digital twins for products, plants, and performance, LTTS will spur innovation by utilizing Siemens’ digital technology platforms, assisting clients in improving the quality of their processes and products.
LTTS provides proffesionals with considerable industry expertise and Siemens qualification with comprehensive solutions for the Siemens software range. The services include CAD (NX) design, Siemens’ Teamcenter software for PLM, Simcenter software for simulation (1D, FEA, CFD & Design Exploration), and Tecnomatix software for digital twin development.
Furthermore, Siemens offers real-time production efficiency with its Opcenter MES and Insights Hub IoT solutions. Based on the robust Plan-Do-Check-Act architecture, Teamcenter Quality Center provides clients with further advantages.
Utilizing the Siemens low-code platform, Mendix, LTTS also creates innovative engineering and industrial applications to keep clients competitive and future-ready.
A major feature of the expanded alliance is the establishment of a Digital Manufacturing Academy, aimed at training engineers in Siemens’ core technologies. This academy, operated in collaboration with the LTTS Global Engineering Academy (GEA) and leading universities, is designed to strengthen project execution and delivery capabilities.
Over 500 additional professionals will be trained on Siemens technologies, reinforcing LTTS’ commitment to equipping its workforce with advanced skills required for the future of digital transformation.
To further enrich collaboration, LTTS and Siemens will organize Client Workshops to ideate, showcase innovations, and demonstrate the tangible benefits of digital transformation to their customers. These “Techday” sessions will serve as platforms for knowledge sharing and closer engagement with clients.
