During the SIDBI-T-Hub Funding Programme was unveiled at the National Defence and Aerospace Innovation Summit (DIAS), is a critical step in developing a strong military and aerospace solution center in India. It emphasizes a resolute dedication to advancing innovation, cultivating teamwork, and strengthening national security fostering the Indian military and aerospace sector.

Important organizations that have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with T-Hub(SIDBI-T-Hub Funding Programme) include Collins Aerospace, KAVACHH, the Indian School of Business, the International Institute For Space Studies & Research (IISSR), the Directorate of Defence Research & Development-Israel, Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), and the College of Defence Management.

These partnerships will promote information sharing, advance technology, and foster a thriving innovation ecosystem in the aerospace and military industries.

The recently launched SIDBI-T-Hub Funding Programme seeks to close the funding gap for fledgling companies in these fields, offering vital assistance to foster creativity and permit the creation of cutting-edge technology to meet national security needs.

The summit was graced by dignitaries such as Shri Giridhar Aramane (IAS), Defence Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India; Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Special Chief Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government; Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy, President, The Aeronautical Society of India, Former Chairman DRDO and Scientific Advisor to Rakshya Mantri; Shri BVR Mohan Reddy, Padma Shri recipient, Founder and Chairman CYIENT and Founding member T-Hub; Mahankali Srinivas Rao (MSR), CEO of T-Hub; Anish, Anthony, COO, T-Hub; Sujit Jagirdar, CIO, T-Hub; Satya Prakash Singh, Chief General Manager, SIDBI along with members from Defence Advisory Committee (DAC) graced the summit.

Shri Jayesh Ranjan (IAS), Special Chief Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government, said, “Telangana’s strategic focus on fostering both defense and aerospace technology reflects our commitment to progress and innovation. From drones and weapons to satellite technology and cybersecurity, the conference gave businesses a priceless stage on which to present their innovative products and services. Startups interacted with investors, industry experts, and possible partners through pitch contests, networking events, and interactive sessions, setting the foundation for future collaborations and growth.

Participating startups in summit included Big Bang Boom Solutions, Skyroot, Edgeforce, Meridian Data labs, Axial Aero, Tractrix, IIC Technologies, Micronel Global Engineers Pvt. Ltd., Latentheat2Comfort, BinfordResearch Labs Private Labs, Jisnu Communications, Arka Aerospace, Zen technologies ltd, Dhruva Space Pvt. Ltd, and Crimson Energy Experts Pvt. Ltd.

Pitch contests were another feature of the DIAS event. These gave entrepreneurs the chance to showcase their ground-breaking concepts to a panel of investors and experts, providing them with a platform to get visibility and vital money for their further development and survival in the aerospace and defense industries. Outstanding Defense Startups, SMEs, and Establishments received recognition and prizes, highlighting the industry’s brilliance and inventiveness.
