SGS announced the expansion of battery testing and certification services at its Suwanee lab near Atlanta, Georgia, USA. As a trusted partner in the battery industry, SGS battery testing and certification services assist manufacturers and operators seeking certification for batteries used in light electric vehicles (LEVs) and energy storage systems (ESS).
The expansion increases SGS’s local capacity for testing scope by 20% and voltage by up to 100 V. It now enables the laboratory’s professional team to offer LEV and ESS modules/cellblocks with voltages up to 100V and currents up to 1200A for a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
