The new Series D update to the proven family of SolaHD industrial rack mount on-line uninterruptible power supply (UPS) family has been announced by Emerson.
The current S4KC Series is replaced by the new SolaHD S4KD Series, which offers major improvements to the user interface along with other design upgrades to improve product availability and reliability. The S4KD is an on-line (double conversion) UPS that offers a smooth power supply for critical loads in the event of an utility power outage by delivering a zero-transfer time from external to internal power. The S4KD comes in two configurations: 1000-3000 VA at 120 V and 3000 VA at 230 V. Its thin 2U form factor accommodates both variants.
With their rugged metal housings and hardwired connections, Emerson SolaHD line UPSs are tried-and-true power supply options for automation, networking, telecommunication, medical, and other mission-critical systems, as well as hardware based on microprocessors and personal computers. State-of-the-art diagnostics provide alerts to users about battery health status, efficiency metrics, replacement date prediction, data logging, input/output real-time tracking, bypass operation, faults, and much more, empowering users to keep their systems operating at peak performance.
