The Same Sky Audio Group declared that it has expanded its line of speakers to include two surface mount models. Compact 13 x 13 x 4 mm and 15 x 15 x 4 mm square frame kits contain the CMS-131304-SMT-TR and CMS-151504-SMT-TR, two surface mount micro speakers.
Both types use samarium cobalt magnets and polyurethane cones, and they are compatible with reflow solder.
At 10 cm and 0.7 W, the CMS-131304-SMT-TR provides a sound pressure level of 87 dB. It has an operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C, a maximum input of 1 W, an impedance of 8 ohms, and a resonant frequency of 900 Hz.
At 10 cm and 0.5 W, the CMS-151504-SMT-TR provides a sound pressure level of 88 dB. It has an operating temperature range of -20 to 70°C, a maximum input of 0.8 W, an impedance of 8 ohms, and a resonant frequency of 850 Hz.
