A major milestone has been reached by S R Aerospace, a major developer and producer of high-performance propulsion systems, as it has obtained certification for its high-performance propellers from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL). With this accreditation, S R Aerospace becomes the only UAV component manufacturer in India to be recognized such distinction.
Shreya Rastogi, a former NASA engineer, an aerospace engineer, a U.S. licensed pilot, and an entrepreneur with almost ten years of experience in advanced composites and aviation technology, is the leader of the company.
She has a creative vision for India’s aerospace industry and is dedicated to uplifting women. She holds dual degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
These propellers, which have been meticulously designed and rigorously tested, maximize UAV performance by improving thrust efficiency, flying endurance, and stability. The snowballing company is establishing new industry norms with this accomplishment, guaranteeing that UAV parts manufactured in India satisfy international aerospace requirements.
The certification is a major turning point for the UAV industry in India. S R Aerospace’s dedication to the “Make in India” and “Make for the World” campaigns is emphasized alongside the propellers’ exceptional quality, reliability, and cutting-edge aerodynamics affirmed its official release.
Dr. Satyanarayana Murthy P. V., the head of CSIR-NAL’s UAV branch, oversaw the stringent certification procedure, which made sure the Shreya Rastogi-led company’s propellers met the strictest safety and engineering requirements.
