Redington Limited, Logistics Skills Council’s COLTE For Upskiling

Redington and LSC announce COLTE, a state-of-the-art Center of Excellence in Chennai, aimed at upskilling the logistics industry workforce and addressing the growing skills gap.

Redington Limited with Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC) launches Centre of Excellence in Chennai, COLTE (Centre of Logistics Training Excellence).

COLTE was inaugurated on 10th January 2024, in Chennai as a part of Redington’s CSR initiatives, to bridge the digital divide between technology and people.

The COLTE is now in Chennai to gradually pan across the nation. The COLTE by  Redington Limited and LSC leverage practical learning and training academies.

The COLTE will be equipped with displays, AR VR Simulators, and training facilities for best-in-class logistics and supply chain practices.

The Centres-of-Excellence will focus on skilling unemployed youth and upskilling/reskilling the existing workforce of the Indian logistics and supply chain sector.

Furthermore, COLTE will actively promote collaboration between industries and academic institutions, fostering a supportive environment for capacity building and mentorship within the logistics and supply chain domain.
