“Since joining Avnet’s leadership team last year, Rebeca has shown her deep commitment to delivering results for our suppliers, customers, partners, and employees,” said Phil Gallagher, CEO, Avnet. “element14 remains a critical part of Avnet’s overall success and value proposition, and I’m confident that Rebeca is the right leader to steer the organization through its next chapter.”

In her previous role, Obregon oversaw mergers and acquisitions, IP&E (interconnect, passive, and electromechanical) supplier management and strategy, and Avnet’s United, Velocity, and Integrated business units. She also held the title of senior vice president of Strategic Business Engagements and Supplier Management.

Who is Rebeca Obregon?

Rebeca Obregon has over thirty years of expertise in the semiconductor sector, having founded and managed companies and teams from their conception to become successful global market leaders. She worked as a corporate vice president at Amkor Technologies prior to joining Avnet in 2023. Rebeca Obregon electrical engineering degrees are from Arizona State University’s B.S. program and the National Technological University’s M.S. program.
