Rebeca Obregon will take over as element14’s president on July 1, 2024, according to an announcement made by Avnet. element14 is a distributor of premium electronics components with a wide range of goods and a global supply network to back it up.
“Since joining Avnet’s leadership team last year, Rebeca has shown her deep commitment to delivering results for our suppliers, customers, partners, and employees,” said Phil Gallagher, CEO, Avnet. “element14 remains a critical part of Avnet’s overall success and value proposition, and I’m confident that Rebeca is the right leader to steer the organization through its next chapter.”
In her previous role, Obregon oversaw mergers and acquisitions, IP&E (interconnect, passive, and electromechanical) supplier management and strategy, and Avnet’s United, Velocity, and Integrated business units. She also held the title of senior vice president of Strategic Business Engagements and Supplier Management.
