The India Global Forum (IGF), with support from the UK Government, the Government of Maharashtra, and the Indian Commerce Ministry, is scheduled to hold a high-profile discussion on April 7 at IGF Mumbai 2025 at the Jio World Convention Centre. Piyush Goyal, India’s Minister of Commerce & Industry, will be speaking exclusively to Bloomberg TV.
Just days after U.S. President Donald Trump announced heavy tariffs on imports from throughout the world, including a 27% tax on Indian exports to the US, this topical discussion takes place.
Given the current state of the global economy, the Minister will examine how these tariffs affect India and international markets. The discussion will center on India’s approach to managing changing trade regulations, supporting its manufacturing industry, and fortifying economic ties in the face of changing geopolitical and economic obstacles.
With the theme “NXT25: Leading the Leap,” the two-day IGF Mumbai 2025 summit will bring together CEOs, international investors, and policymakers to examine the major trends influencing India’s future on the global scene. It will also highlight India’s goals for the next 25 years and its rise to prominence as a global leader in innovation, technology, investment, and sustainability.
In an eagerly awaited session, India’s next generation of business leaders—including Parth Jindal, Jay Kotak, Vaaman Sehgal, and Harsh Jain—participate in an open and honest dialogue about daring concepts, difficult lessons, and the disruptive vision reshaping the nation’s future.
In a fireside discussion on April 8, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will take center stage and discuss the state’s goals for digital transformation, infrastructural development, and economic leadership.
