Panasonic Industry Europe announces that Syndicat Professionnel de la Distribution en Electronique Industrielle (SPDEI) has awarded its Best Supplier of the Year for Passive Components.

Distributors vote for the SPDEI Award, a prominent French industry award that recognizes leading electronic component suppliers for excellence in partnership, product innovation, service, and design traceability.
The association’s participating distributors, including Arrow, Avnet, Farnell, TTI, and a number of others, vote for the top suppliers of the year for various Product Technologies in this award. Distributor input on a variety of factors, including collaboration, product innovation, profitability, resources and support, and design traceability, is the basis for the SPDEI vote.
In order to promote the advancement of the profession in the fields of economics, technical, and regulation, SPDEI was established in 1972. It presently represents a group of manufacturers’ representatives (REP) and has broadened its purview to include participation in electronics since 2018.
The seven product families that comprise its eighteen member firms are semiconductors, wireless, display, connectors, electromechanics, cables and accessories, and energy.
Their objectives are to represent the industrial electronics distribution industry, support businesses in their operations, make rules clear, and advocate for and defend franchised distributors and manufacturers’ representatives (REPs) to provide favorable circumstances for development.
