A key highlight this year is the next-generation Grid-EYE thermopile sensor, featuring a new far-infrared sensitivity enhancement enabled by a phononic crystal structure. The demonstration model boasts 5,120 pixels (80 × 64), delivering remarkably high-resolution thermal imaging.

The Grid-EYE series provides fast and reliable temperature mapping and human detection capabilities, helping engineers develop efficient designs for smart buildings, healthcare monitoring, and safety systems.

Live demonstrations at the booth will feature real-time thermal imaging and presence detection, showcasing the sensor’s compact design, low power consumption, and easy system integration for smarter, energy-efficient applications.

Also debuting in Europe is Panasonic Industry’s FineX (Fine Cross) — a transparent conductive film tailored for electromagnetic wave shielding.

The metal mesh-based film achieves both high optical transmissivity and low electrical resistance, offering excellent shielding performance across wide frequencies.

Its unique pattern design minimizes diffraction and allows the film to be flexible, bendable, and easily cut into custom shapes using standard tools.

These innovations underline Panasonic Industry’s commitment to advancing sensing, connectivity, and energy-efficient technologies for the next generation of smart and sustainable systems.

In addition, visitors to Panasonic Industry‘s stand will be able to experience the following products:

  • Flat Wide Detection Type PaPIRs(+) motion sensor features a sleek, discreet flat lens that seamlessly integrates into any aesthetically demanding application. Its wide field of view of 136.4° × 135.4° represents a significant leap forward in PIR sensor technology.
  • Low-cost PAN W602 – Wi-Fi 6 & Bluetooth 5.4 module – provides exceptional design flexibility and fast time to market for 2.4 GHz or dual?band wireless products.
  • Panasonic’s PAN-MaX Service offering, including the PAN B611 – Bluetooth 6 & 802.15.4 module that closes the loop for device manufacturers by providing all the necessary capabilities required for making a Matter certified product.
  • Amorton solar cells – great low-light performance and can be shaped into complex geometries, also customizable on various substrates.
  • Highly reliable and long-life Panasonic Energy batteries – designed to offer exceptional pulse discharge characteristics, ensuring consistent and reliable performance across a wide thermal range in hot and cold climates.

Visitors to Panasonic Industry Europe’s booth at embedded world 2026 will be able to explore a range of interactive application displays, offering hands?on insight into the company’s latest electronic components and technologies.

Each live demo is designed to help engineers and developers experience Panasonic’s innovations in action from smart sensing to power and connectivity solutions.

Throughout the event, Panasonic Industry’s technical experts will be available on-site to explain the features, performance advantages, and integration possibilities of each product.

They will also discuss how Panasonic’s advanced component technologies can help customers elevate product performance, reliability, and efficiency across diverse applications.
