In order to facilitate the commercialization of Panasonic’s state-of-the-art Nessum High Definition – Power Line Communication (HD-PLC) Technology in India, Panasonic and T-Hub established a strategic alliance. This partnership represents a critical turning point in the development of innovation and commercial cooperation between Japan and India.

When building smart environments, Nessum HD-PLC Technology provides an affordable way to communicate data over existing lines, negating the need for new equipment.

Throughout Europe and Japan, the technology has been effectively incorporated into a large number of residential and commercial projects.

In September 2024, a call for applications will be made for the Innovation Challenge, allowing startups in India and beyond to harness the power of Nessum HD-PLC Technology.

The program would involve roadshows in major cities including Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Mumbai. It will culminate in a Demo Day at T-Hub in December 2024, where chosen startups will present their ideas for a possible partnership with Panasonic.
