The Owlet Dream Sight has received the first SGS Cybersecurity Mark for a baby monitor, according to SGS.

This presentation follows SGS’s initial assessment of a baby monitor under the EU Radio Equipment Directive, which enabled the device to receive the globally renowned SGS Cybersecurity Mark.
The SGS Cybersecurity Mark attests to adherence to globally accepted cybersecurity standards and relevant clauses of Articles 3.3 (d) and (e) of the European Union’s Radio Equipment Directive (RED).
Brightsight, an SGS company, assessed Dream Sight against EN 18031-1 and EN 18031-2, and SGS Fimko Oy, a Notified Body accredited by the European Commission, certified it in compliance with RED Articles 3(3)(d) and (e).
Dream Sight’s cybersecurity features are highlighted by this independent recognition, which gives parents peace of mind about the security of their monitoring device. Additionally, it makes the product stand out in a crowded market and improves transparency by incorporating a QR code that makes certification facts simple to verify.
Owlet Dream Sight is said to be one of the most sophisticated baby monitoring technology. With robust encryption and privacy protections, it includes 2K HD streaming with night vision, motion and sound detection, two-way audio, temperature and humidity tracking, and more.
By achieving the SGS Cybersecurity Mark, Owlet Dream Sight raises the bar for safety, cybersecurity, and trust in baby monitoring and solidifies Brightsight’s standing as a world leader in connected technology testing, inspection, and certification.
