On July 22, 2024, Nidec Corporation stated that it and Tata Elxsi Ltd. (“Tata Elxsi”), an Indian provider of design and technology services, had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). The MOU intends to facilitate Nidec’s group-wide improvement of its software development competence by allowing Nidec to leverage Tata Elxsi’s expertise and resources.
The MOU also calls for the Company to create software for the Indian market as well as other markets, research localization strategies for Nidec products, and assist the establishment and operation of a worldwide business basis for future software development by the Nidec Group.
