MYIR Rollsout Two New Rockchip Series For Demanding Applications

MYIR has released two new Rockchip series System-On-Module (SOM) modules, the MYC-YR3562 and MYC-YR3506. These SOMs, based on Rockchip’s RK3562 and RK3506 processors, provide outstanding performance and versatility for a variety of applications.

The MYC-YR3506 is a low-cost, power-efficient system-on-module (SOM) developed for entry-level multimedia and IoT applications. It uses the RK3506 SoC, which has a triple-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU that can run at up to 1.5GHz.

It is compatible with a wide range of screens with its 2D graphic engine and support for display interfaces such as RGB and MIPI-DSI. The basic connectivity options include dual 10/100Mbps Ethernet, dual USB 2.0, dual CAN, and six UART ports.

The MYC-YR3506 is a popular choice for low-cost smart displays, IoT devices, and simple multimedia systems since it is energy-efficient and battery-powered.

It includes the RK3562 processor, which has a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU, a 3D GPU, and a dedicated NPU for AI and machine learning workloads with up to 1 TOPS computational capability.

Multiple Connectivity Choices and Display Interfaces 

The module has multiple connectivity choices, including Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, dual CAN, and up to ten UART ports.
