MYIR has introduced the Remi Pi, a one-of-a-kind and compact computer board based on the Renesas RZ/G2L MPU that addresses the needs of both serious product development and hobbyist creativity.

MYIR Remi Pi Computer Board with Renesas MPU for Hobbyists The Volt Post 2The Remi Pi makes use of the RZ/G2L, an embedded Cortex-M33 coprocessor, 3D graphics, and a video codec engine. It is a dual-core Arm Cortex-A55 processor running at 1.2GHz.

Applications like embedded devices with video capabilities and entry-level industrial human machine interfaces (HMI) are perfect for it.

The Remi Pi has two debug serial ports, two USB 2.0 HOST ports, one USB 2.0 OTG port, two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, a WiFi/Bluetooth module, one Micro SD card slot, and a 40-pin extension header, among many other peripherals.

It also has 1GB DDR4, 8GB eMMC, 32KB EEPROM, and a full complement of peripherals. It also has audio input/output capabilities, an HDMI display, an LVDS display, and the MIPI-CSI camera interface.

The Remi Pi can run the Linux operating system and has a number of system settings to suit a variety of applications.

The extensive myir-image-full system is perfect for Human Machine Interface (HMI) scenarios, whereas the lightweight myir-image-core system is appropriate for a variety of industrial applications.

These include RT-Linux real-time patches and EtherCAT master stations specifically built for industrial control scenarios, LVGL customized for lightweight industrial display scenarios, and FreeRTOS real-time operating systems optimized for industrial real-time situations.

Additionally, MYIR is now working on supporting Ubuntu and Debian systems for the MYIR Remi Pi, which will be ready in two months.

The MYIR Remi Pi comes with a thorough Quick Start Guide and a USB-to-TTL serial connector. MYIR offers add-on solutions for hardware expansion, such the MY-CAM003M MIPI Camera Module, MY-WIREDCOM RPI Module (RS232/RS485/CAN), and MY-LVDS070C LCD Module, to meet the needs of various projects.

These modules will offer you with complete support for image recognition, communication control, and display interfaces. Furthermore, the Remi Pi supports a variety of Pi extension modules via the 40-pin extension header, allowing for easy prototyping and inventive applications.
