A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to form a Strategic Partnership for Advanced Air Mobility has been signed by Tata Elxsi and the CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL).
The goal of this partnership is to promote innovation in cutting-edge fields such electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, urban air mobility (UAM), and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). In order to serve both Indian and international markets, the alliance combines Tata Elxsi’s technological prowess in electrification, AI/ML, sensor fusion, and certification procedures with NAL’s extensive aviation experience.
With applications in sectors like logistics, agriculture, defense, and urban transportation, the global market for UAVs and UAM is expanding quickly.
Through this collaboration, these industries will have access to cutting-edge testing infrastructure, techniques, and knowledge, which will speed up product development cycles.
