The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has granted Velmenni, a prominent player in light communication solutions, as part of the iDEX program. With the goal of overcoming communication difficulties in contemporary combat, this award Velmenni’s Li-Fi aims to improve secure wireless communication for the Indian Defense sector, particularly the Navy.
By incorporating cutting-edge technology like Velmenni’s Li-Fi, the iDEX program promotes innovation in the Indian defense sector and is in line with Make in India, Startup India, and the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM). The potential of Li-Fi to meet the Navy’s communication difficulties in challenging defense situations is firmly validated by this funding.
