Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India(MBRDI) has chosen Tata Elxsi to work on Vehicle Software Engineering and Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) development.

The company’s integrated software architecture is intended to improve vehicle capabilities, offer intuitive interfaces, and optimize performance, thereby elevating the user experience and adapting to changing driver needs.
According to Tata Elxsi’s press statement, the company has been collaborating with top OEMs across the world to develop SDV platforms, which will accelerate the speed of innovation and software scalability across vehicle models and platforms while lowering costs and sharing accountability.
It combines domain expertise in autonomous, electrified, connected car technologies, AI, and software-defined vehicles (SDV), backed by cutting-edge labs and Mobility Innovation Centres, as well as a portfolio of products that includes the AVENIR SDV suite and AUTONOMAI ADAS suite.
