In order to introduce state-of-the-art simulation technology to the Indian railway industry as well as surrounding regions, L&T Technology Services Limited and PS Technology (PST) formed a strategic cooperation around mobility. The firms have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to concentrate on the creation, supply, and design of cutting-edge AI-based simulation technologies, which have the potential to greatly improve the operational effectiveness and security of rail infrastructure both domestically and internationally.
In accordance with the terms of the agreement, LTTS and PST opened their first Customer Experience and R&D Center (CXC) in Faridabad, which is close to the National Capital of the country, New Delhi. By utilizing cutting-edge technology in simulator design and delivery, this new facility will raise the bar for India’s railroad industry. The center wants to lead innovation and assistance that is unmatched, propelling improvements in training and simulation capabilities for the Indian Railways, said its official release.
PST and LTTS’s partnership will improve safety and offer real-time data for modern-day transportation. By simulating real-time data collecting, proactive decision-making, and enhanced resource management, this new center will set the bar higher for immersive learning, training, and crew management in rail simulation. The center wants to increase the safety, security, and speed of rail transit by utilizing AI and augmented reality technology.
“We are thrilled to partner with L&T Technology Services to introduce our advanced simulator technology in India and adjacent rail markets. This collaboration aligns with our commitment to revolutionize rail infrastructure through innovation and localized solutions,” said Abhinav Bhan, Senior Managing Director and Global Head, PST.
“L&T Technology Services’ extensive experience in the railways engineering domain, combined with PS Technology’s innovative simulator technology, forms a game changing proposition for the global railway market. Our partnership will deliver transformative Mobility Solutions that enhance operational efficiency and safety across the rail network,” said Alind Saxena, Executive Director & President – Mobility & Tech at LTTS. “We are excited to establish the Customer Excellence Center in Faridabad, which will serve as a hub for innovation and excellence in rail simulation technology.”
Through this collaboration, LTTS will provide its significant domain knowledge in the rail engineering segment to help localize and Indianize PST’s technology, making sure it satisfies the unique requirements of the Indian railroads. The alliance seeks to establish new benchmarks for operational excellence and safety in the Indian rail industry by incorporating PST’s simulation technologies.
