An “Employment Skilling Initiative” Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Lightstorm and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras was signed.
The partnership seeks to narrow the skill gap that exists between disadvantaged students and underprivileged women, youth, and job seekers in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
A survey conducted in 2023 revealed that more than 75% of business executives believe recent graduates need to get more real-world experience.
Only 45% of Indian graduates who apply for jobs are employable and prepared to fulfill the rapidly evolving expectations of the industry, according to another industry report. This disparity emphasizes how critical it is to give pupils the specific technical skill sets needed to succeed in every field of work.
