To keep the ideal amount of fluid on the faces, the LATTYlub Thermoflow thermostatic actuator is mounted on the barrier fluid outlet of the double mechanical seal. It much lowers the amount of fluid required for cooling by allowing the fluid to be replenished when the temperature inside the mechanical seal rises too high. Pressure changes have no effect on this fully mechanical system. Depending on the type, it can run at up to 120°C and is preset to a specific temperature.
A supply system for seals that need a gas supply is the LATTYlub Gascontrol controller-regulator. In addition to preventing product emissions into the atmosphere, its cooling effect ensures the system’s integrity.
