KPIT Partners with Salesforce to Launch AI-Powered Vehicle Relationship Management Platform. KPIT Technologies has announced a strategic Outsourcing Service Provider (OSP) partnership with Salesforce VRM solution onto Salesforce’s secure, scalable and AI-driven CRM platform for the global automotive industry.

The collaboration is aimed at helping passenger car, truck and off-highway OEMs tackle aftersales challenges such as rising vehicle complexity, higher warranty costs, labour shortages, growing regulatory pressure and fragmented service systems.?
KPIT’s VRM platform integrates customer data, vehicle data and AI to manage the entire post-sales lifecycle, from vehicle delivery to monitoring, software updates, intelligent maintenance and failure resolution.
In the event of a fault, VRM supports pre-diagnosis, intelligent resource allocation and workshop automation to minimise downtime and improve repair outcomes.
Delivered on Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 for Automotive, the solution incorporates modules including a data platform, triage, resource management, scheduling and service brokering, an aftersales information bus, customer diagnostics assistant, predictive maintenance and remote diagnostics.?
With more than two decades of automotive domain experience, KPIT reports that its solutions have helped OEMs cut warranty claims by around 10%, reduce vehicle downtime by about 25% and increase dealer throughput by up to 20%.
Through the OSP partnership model, customers are expected to gain stronger cost control, faster innovation cycles, greater operational flexibility and managed access to Salesforce expertise.?
Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 for Automotive unifies driver and vehicle data across sales, service, finance and in-vehicle touchpoints, and layers agentic AI on top to create deeply personalised, connected experiences.
Capabilities such as Connected Vehicle allow automakers to build new revenue streams from subscriptions and services by feeding telematics and driver data directly into CRM workflows, accelerating time-to-market for data-driven offerings.?
According to KPIT, the two companies have already been working together to modernise the global aftersales ecosystem, helping OEMs enhance customer satisfaction, improve service efficiency, lower downtime and unlock new aftermarket business models.
The expanded Salesforce VRM initiative is positioned as a new benchmark for digital transformation in automotive aftersales, with benefits for OEMs, dealer networks and end customers alike.?
