The next-generation Industrial Copilot, created in partnership with Microsoft, has been released by Schneider Electric. The goal of this generative AI-powered assistant is to improve open automation ecosystems by increasing industrial operations’ intelligence, flexibility, and efficiency.
By removing monotonous work, this generative AI-powered assistant facilitates industry collaboration, simplifies application development, increases productivity, and expedites the release of high-quality solutions.
Schneider Electric’s premier open automation environment, the EcoStruxure Automation Expert Platform, has a thorough integration with the Copilot. The Copilot improves automation systems’ intelligence, scalability, and flexibility by directly integrating AI into this open, interoperable architecture, offering advantages that closed, proprietary solutions just cannot match.
Industrial copilots are being used more and more to increase productivity through real-time suggestions, which facilitates operations and speeds up decision-making. Additionally, they save manual labor, which saves money; integrate data for better decision-making; and limit machine downtime through predictive maintenance and fast troubleshooting.
The Copilot will be accessible through Schneider Electric’s recently released unified automation environment, EcoStruxure Automation Expert Platform, which builds on the company’s leadership in open, software-defined automation and capitalizes on the adaptability of EcoStruxure Automation Expert, the first open software-defined automation solution in history.
By combining real-time data access—which is essential for making precise recommendations, predictive maintenance, and prompt troubleshooting, the EcoStruxure Automation Expert Platform seamlessly integrates across a variety of hardware and software platforms, improving copilot, operator, and engineer collaboration.
