In Plano, Texas, L&T Technology Services has opened its innovative Engineering Design Center. This investment demonstrates LTTS’ dedication to providing cutting-edge AI and tech solutions and building additional nearshore facilities that are suited to our customers’ changing demands.
The center may design, develop, and test defense-related products and systems because it is an ITAR-compliant facility. Advanced cybersecurity solutions, such as a Security Operations Center (SoC), which facilitates Smart City technology, will also be the main emphasis of the new design hub.
The facility, which can initially accommodate 100 engineers, hopes to generate over 350 high-skilled employment in key business sectors like tech and mobility.
The center is a prime example of innovation and technology cross-pollination, having been inaugurated by the Honorable Mayor of Plano, John B. Muns; Vice President at Caterpillar, Tim Graham; Honorable Consul General of India in Houston, Manjunath Chenneerappa; and President & Executive Director (Mobility & Tech) at LTTS, Alind Saxena.
At the inauguration, the engineers from LTTS showcased their expertise, including:
- Factory of the Futurefor Industry 4.0-based digital manufacturing
- TrackEI,a real-time railway track inspection tool
- LTTS iDriVeframework with AD/ADAS, wireless charging, and battery management systems
- Fusion platform: Leverages AI to deliver real-time insights for smart cities and Industry 4.0
- Software Defined Imaging: An AI driven solution which uses NVIDIA’s Jetson™ platform to enhance precision and efficiency in endoscopic procedures & makes it more affordable
In addition to highlighting LTTS’ leadership in creating innovation, cutting-edge solutions, this milestone solidifies Texas’ standing as a center for innovation in AI, generative AI, etc.
