Honeywell and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) have teamed up in a strategic partnership to push building operators past basic automation into full enterprise autonomy.

Honeywell brings its proven strengths in OT (operational technology) automation, control systems, and AI-driven data analytics, blending seamlessly with TCS’s expertise in IT modernization, cloud solutions, and consulting.
Together, they’re delivering real-time insights, boosting operational efficiency, and driving tangible business results for clients.
The partnership focuses on channeling OT data straight into IT systems. Honeywell is building a unified digital backbone for instant visibility, predictive smarts, and autonomous process controls, powered by TCS’s IT and consulting prowess.
At its core is Honeywell Forge, an IoT platform packed with AI analytics and dashboards that make operations smarter, more efficient, and secure. This includes specialized suites like Honeywell Forge for Industrials and Buildings.
For building and industrial operators, the payoff is huge: streamlined processes, AI-fueled autonomous systems that sense, analyze, act, and learn on their own. It equips customers to stay agile, make quicker informed decisions, and converge their OT and IT worlds into one smooth, integrated setup.
Through this partnership, Honeywell will tap into its AI-driven industrial and building tech, plus robust OT cybersecurity tools, to revolutionize key sectors, streamline processes, upskill workforces, and maximize asset reliability.
The initiative launches first for customers in India, with plans to roll out globally including the US and Middle East soon after.
Ashish Modi, President, Honeywell India & Asia Pacific, said: “Our customers run incredibly complex operations. Historically, OT and IT have been run as separate domains, but with new capabilities in 5G connectivity, cloud computing and AI, we can now accelerate the OT/IT convergence to improve operations and data analysis through one
cohesive system. This is anticipated to make it easier for our building and industrial customers to run their operations with greater safety, efficiency and agility and reveal new actionable insights on the performance of their infrastructure.”
Anupam Singhal, President, Manufacturing Business Group, TCS, said: “Our partnership with Honeywell is centred on helping enterprises unlock the benefits of autonomous workflows and redefine autonomy at scale. By combining the deep industry expertise of both Honeywell and TCS with our strong digital and AI capabilities, we are enabling organizations to run more connected, efficient, and sustainable operations. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to long?term value creation and helping customers make more intelligent decisions as they become truly future?ready.”
