Honeywell Launches AI- Powered Building Managament Solution

In order to facilitate more effective operations, Honeywell announced the launch of Honeywell Connected Solutions, an AI-powered platform that unifies critical building software and technologies into a single interface. Vanderbilt University and Verizon Communications two early adopters of the platform, have already started implementing the solution in their buildings.Honeywell Connected Solutions building software the volt post 1

Building operators may control Honeywell software, systems, and devices via a single, integrated interface using Connected Solutions, which is based on Honeywell Forge. When a building or campus is completely connected, users may access real-time visibility and extensive data about the functioning of vital systems, as well as practical advice on how to resolve any issues that may come up.

With an AI-enabled installation process that takes only a few hours to complete, users—including facility managers, multi-site operators, and integrators—can connect to the platform rapidly. This significantly reduces labor time, expenses, and interruption in comparison to traditional building management systems.

The solution also addresses the key issues facing buildings today through capabilities including:

  • Advanced encryption to help safeguard against cyber threats,
  • Remote monitoring and diagnostics that help to reduce labor time and cost,
  • Predictive maintenance prompts to spot and address issues before they escalate and
  • Energy-management solutions supporting decarbonization efforts

Verizon is using the platform to assist anticipate significant building and system issues before they become serious and expensive, following the integration of Honeywell’s Connected Solutions into some of its global infrastructure.

Nearly 10% of the buildings at Vanderbilt University have already embraced Connected Solutions, which is being used throughout the campus. The institution wants to maximize the user experience, lower energy usage, and improve building system efficiency, especially in older facilities, affirms its official release.

Leadership Comments
