HCLTech Chairperson Gets Highest Civilian Honor By France

HCLTech declared that France has bestowed the title of “Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur” (Knight of the Legion of Honour) upon its Chairperson, Roshni Nadar Malhotra. The recipient of the award is acknowledged for her business acumen, persistent efforts to foster economic relations between France and India, and steadfast dedication to social and environmental causes.

No matter the recipient’s nationality, the highest civilian honor bestowed by the French Republic for exceptional service to the country is the Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur, an honor established in 1802 by Napoleon Bonaparte. The Grand Master of the Order of the Legion of Honour is the President of the French Republic. At a special ceremony held at the French Residence in Delhi, H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou, the Ambassador of France to India, presented the award to the HCLTech Chairperson on behalf of the President of the French Republic.

The French Republic acknowledges today not only Ms Nadar Malhotra’s professional achievements but also her impact on society and her commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between our two countries.”
