HARMAN Automotive has made a significant move to advance India’s automotive landscape with a bold investment of ?345 crore in expanding its Pune manufacturing plant. The newly expanded facility, inaugurated by CEO & President Christian Sobottka and Krishna Kumar G, Managing Director & Automotive Head, HARMAN India, marks a pivotal step toward accelerating connected and sustainable mobility in the country.

Boosting Production and Creating Jobs
The Pune plant expansion boosts production capacity by 50% and is projected to generate 300 new jobs by 2027. The facility will focus on manufacturing next-generation infotainment systems, advanced telematics control units, and high-quality car audio components.
This expansion aligns perfectly with the Government of India’s “Make in India, for the World” initiative, reinforcing the nation’s emergence as a global hub for intelligent automotive solutions.
