From April 9–11, Gateworks presented its state-of-the-art technology kit – Wi-Fi 6 Development Kit – GW11048-5-A at the Embedded World 2024 expo in Nuremberg, Germany.
The Wi-Fi 6 Development Kit – GW11048-5-A was only available through element14 during the event as it is the only distributor chosen for the kit.
The Gateworks Wi-Fi 6 Development Kit offers developers a smooth, out-of-the-box assessment experience while easing the validation process for the Silex SX-SDMAX and SX-PCEAX Wi-Fi 6 radios. For a wide range of industrial applications, including predictive maintenance, improved logistics, and remote real-time monitoring, it provides ruggedized wireless connectivity.
This latest innovation in the Gateworks Wi-Fi 6 Development Kit comes with a pre-loaded Linux system and all the necessary accessories to get started quickly.
Key features of the Development Kit include:
- Supports Silex SX-SDMAX and SX-PCEAX Wi-Fi 6 radios (radios not included)
- Includes Venice GW7200 Single Board Computer (SBC) with pre-loaded Linux drivers
- Onboard NXP i.MX8M Mini processor (1.6 GHz quad-core)
- 8GB eMMC flash storage and 1GB LPDDR4 DRAM
- Two Gigabit Ethernet ports and two Mini-PCIe expansion slots
- Multiple connectivity options including MicroSD, Nano SIM, I2C, SPI, and serial ports
- Real-time clock, voltage and temperature monitoring
- Wide input voltage range (8 to 60VDC) with PoE support
- Operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C
