FPT Industrial announces a significant milestone of producing 200,000 Cursor 13 engines in less than two years. The milestone was achieved at its Cordoba (Argentina) plant.
Key Features of The Successful Cursor 13 Engine:
- Equipped with a 2,200 bar Common Rail high-pressure injection system.
- Electronically controlled variable geometry turbocharger.
- FPT Industrial’s proprietary HI-eSCR after-treatment solution.
- Allows it to comply with Euro VI standards without the need for an EGR system.
Earlier in September 2022, FPT Industrial said that the company achieved the production milestone of developing Cursor 13 engines to 150,000.
Its two assembly lines produce the medium-sized NEF range together with the Cursor 9, 10, 11 and 13 heavy engine versions, with engine number 200,000 being a powerful Cursor 13 Euro VI headed to Brazil. In fact, the plant is not only an important production center in the country, but also distinguishes itself as an exporter: in the case of the Cursor, 100% of the engines produced are shipped to Brazil002E.
