With the first six aircraft serving as the first phase and provisions for future growth based on market demand and operational readiness, this partnership at Wings India 2026 launches a phased aircraft program to meet India’s expanding regional connectivity demands.

Flamingo Aerospace has received a cooperation framework from UAC as part of the deal, which includes a comprehensive roadmap for the development of aviation capabilities in India.

This makes it possible for Flamingo Aerospace to carry out phased industrial operations such aircraft assembly, customization, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), and infrastructure development and production preparation.

In the absence of final agreements and regulatory permissions, the pact shows both sides’ dedication to developing long-term aviation capabilities in India. In order to promote additional UAC programs in India, Flamingo Aerospace indicated interest in them.

Vadim Badekha, CEO, United Aircraft Corporation, said, “The Indian air travel market is growing at the fastest rate in the world. Passenger numbers are growing annually by up to 11%. India is the world’s third-largest air travel market. This creates the preconditions for the commercial success of our regional aircraft in the local market, which we confirmed today by signing the first contract for the delivery of Il-114-300 aircraft with Flamingo Aerospace. While the signed framework agreement covers the delivery of six aircraft starting in 2028, we plan to expand our cooperation with Flamingo Aerospace to include new mutually beneficial collaborations in the future.”
